Up to 3 Mark II Mining Laser, not the Class I Mining Laser, and a Certification Level 5 Medium Cargo Hold (Starfighter). I got 1k Carbo Asteroid with the 3 weapons Kimo on Asteroid 1 only in Naboo System (82%+ of Cargo Hold).

+ 1k Petro Asteroid later on this morning even faster, all on Asteroid 2 only in Yavin System (77% of Cargo Hold).
It seems that even the asteroids that don’t yield resources in chunks eventually would yield resources… However, even returning to the System Map waypoint for those Asteroids will not completely solve the matter.
Those asteroids would eventually vanish and reappear or respawn, in the exact same location as they are, with fresh new resources.
Even the Asteroids that do yield Targetable Chunks seem to have a time frame in which they don’t yield resources.
Better ships and mining systems for those seems a definitive way to get them to produce more. One of the 2 above Space System alternate Asteroid has over 3 Tier 3 shooting on Miners.

I refound it now, it is the Petrochemical Asteroid 2 waypoint. I just successfully mined 120 or 150 of those Asteroidal units…I already had 78 units of that type and now a 198 units total amount. (26.4% of the first 750 units I need, from the 10.4% I previously had.)

Anyways, that Asteroid 2 doesn’t give much, although it is the safest … Some runs may not yield resources, I’m gonna recheck this and report.

The Mark II Mining Laser requires Certification Level 5 to use and load aboard a ship.

The end of the Tier 2 CorSec Mission starts in Yavin Space System… It starts at CorSec level 9 and is the first mission when it requires 200k XP. The mission is to hunt 2 X Reb ship to get a Freighter Cargo.
I saw 2 players at the Yavin IV Labor Outpost, one yesterday and one today. I now moved to the Imperial Starport there, and both place have 1 Hotel with 2 Buildings each…
The best to complete this one might be disabling the Freighter’s Engines, and destroy the escort before Capturing the Cargo. The quest requires to escort the Freighter to safety outside of the Yavin System. The Freighter most likely will regain Engine power after the cargo is transferred from Docking.

The quest fails if you reland before completion. So I have to go back to Coronet to get it again. No other pilots are willing to launch with me.
The 1st time I tried this mission with an inexperienced pilot, the mission failed. There was a few things going on though…
If I remember correctly, I couldn’t hunt the ship down, or I was destroyed before completion. I couldn’t transfer the cargo before the other ships were taken down. It would interfere too much with the Docking procedure to successfully transfer the cargo. So those ships might have to be destroyed or disabled before trying to transfer the Cargo. The best thing to do is to disable the Freighter asap, so that it doesn’t escape. If the Freighter manages to escape before it can be escorted after the Cargo is Captured, the mission would fail.

I’m now gonna launch into Yavin Space System by Jumping to Hyperspace from the Corellia System launching from Coronet.
I haven’t programmed the v3 Programs yet.
They can also be loaded on the v1 and v2 Flight Computer.

Joined group with Akasei and tested a Y-Wing for the 1st time. I’m not at over 13k/200k XP for level 9. I took a 15% XP buff before launching so I’m getting bonuses. My inventory is full, and I can’t walk around the ship though, so I get no loot. My backpack is at around 48/50 and my inventory is around 78/80 and I can’t move things. I get no money from this though, the credits and loot go to the pilot, not gunner. I think he ended up shooting some mercenary Tier 3 Freighter and Cruisers around the Coronet station. I got around 2k to 2.5k XP per ship destroyed.

I found out my error, as I had my almost full backpack unequipped… Now I have 24/80 of inventory space left. Akasei is a Rebel with a civilian armor (Katarn, maybe from the Nym’s Starmap quest). He now relogged and rejoined group with Tikim(Naboo).

Succeeded now with a Master Pilot , Stregano I think, who’s also an Imperial… There was one more player, but he had to go back to Naboo and get a quest launcher. It was from the Corellia system launching from Coronet and Jumping to Hyperspace to the Yavin 4 Smuggler’s Run Hyperspace point. We also found the Meatlump King!!

I got a waypoint to get loot from Meatlump which dropped a Viewscreen Reader with a Corellia Times logo. I also was invited or informed of a space Event starting at 6 edt, 5 pm central. The other pilot had a Vaksai he said, so he might have completed the quest for it.

The mission wasn’t to disable the Freighter though, it was to escort it. It was never escorted by Rebel ships at all, and they were only planning on attacking it.

Got Cyanomethanic for Cargo Holds though I used to get the other Petrochemical before. It seems easier, but it goes better with a Mark II and I laser instead of only one. I still used a small Cargo Hold though I believe storing a Medium size capacity one unloaded yet. I had to hyperspace due to 3 Tier III shooting away and also at my ship. That last run was 280 Cya, over the 125 or 25 units required, and around under 40% of total capacity.

Completed the quest but couldn’t refind the easy Asteroidal resource waypoint. The NPC level may have changed. I got destroyed by a Tier 3, while my Hyperspace Waypoint was logged in… The Petrochemical Asteroid 2 on Yavin didn’t give anything. I will now verify the required resources for the Vehicle Repair kit.
(I also had a Droid Repair Kit - A which I either gave away or sold or lost…) I’m offering a 7-6 items Droid Kit TravPak at Bazaar for the next 7 days with a 10k start bid auction.
